Bocca di Magra is a hamlet of Ameglia on the right bank of the river Magra. The charming village is located in the Gulf of Poets region and is a tourist destination for many. Bocca di Magra also hosts a small harbour where many motor boats can be found. In addition, several tourist boats depart from the harbour. Despite being a small town, Bocca di Magra offers a lot in terms of food facilities: there are bars, ice cream parlours, pizzerias and restaurants. Around Bocca di Magra, there are several paths immersed in the Mediterranean maquis that lead to heavenly beaches that can only be reached on foot or by boat. Bocca di Magra is about 11 km from Sarzana, 20 km from La Spezia and 10 km from Lerici.
